Whisperwood (James Kirkland, R. 1944) 30-40"

A blue/purple self.  Blooms first week of may in Virginia zone 7b.  Modestly tall betwen 30 to 40 " but stands up well in modest rain and wind.  Flower has decent substance against rains.
